Al Rusnak serves as Director of Marketing for life and health reinsurance. Al brings 35 years of experience in the accident and health reinsurance market to BrentRe. His specialty is advising clients on growth, products and diversification strategies, as well as enterprise risk management. His focus areas are managing general underwriters, group life, disability, accidental death market segments, and a wide range of both group and individual accident and health products.

Al attended Northwestern University and Ohio State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, as well as Juris Doctorate degree. After practicing law for nine years, he joined E.W. Blanch Co., headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn. Following that position, he spent 12 years with Aon Re, based in Jacksonville, Fla., where his clients have included self-funded medical managing general underwriters (MGUs), carriers, health insurers and life insurance companies.
